Terms and Conditions (CGV)

ARTICLE 01 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

The World Boat Center site is an online platform allowing the relationship between professionals and individuals for the publication of boat sale ads as well as the registration of nautical professionals in a directory of companies in the sector.

The use of the site implies the acceptance without reservation of these General Terms and Conditions (CGV). We reserve the right to modify these CGV unilaterally, any modification taking effect from its publication online.

ARTICLE 02 - OBJECT OF THE CGV

These CGV define the rules and obligations of site users, whether they are professionals or individuals, for the publication and management of ads as well as for the registration in the directory of nautical professionals.

ARTICLE 03 - PUBLICATION OF BOAT ADS

3.1 Professional Advertisers
Nautical professionals (brokers, dealers, shipyards, ...) can publish boat sale ads by paying a subscription according to the applicable conditions. Professionals must provide proof of their activity before the publication of their first ad.

3.2 Private Advertisers
Individuals can publish ads for the sale of their boats under certain conditions. Ads must comply with the applicable regulations and contain verifiable information.

ARTICLE 04 - REGISTRATION OF PROFESSIONALS IN THE DIRECTORY

4.1 Registration conditions
Nautical professionals can register in a specialized directory present on the site by paying an annual subscription according to the applicable conditions. This registration allows them to obtain better visibility among users.

4.2 Commitments of registered professionals
Registered professionals commit to providing accurate and up-to-date information on their activity. Any false declaration or omission may result in the deletion of their file without refund.

ARTICLE 05 - RESPONSIBILITY OF ADS

Advertisers, whether professionals or individuals, are solely responsible for the information communicated on the site. World Boat Center acts only as an intermediary and cannot be held responsible for the content of ads or transactions concluded between sellers and buyers.

ARTICLE 06 - PAYMENT METHODS

The payment of services (publication of ads for professionals, registration in the directory, sponsoring options) is made online by bank card. No refund will be made once the service is activated.

ARTICLE 07 - PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected are treated with the greatest confidentiality and are not sold to third parties. In accordance with the applicable regulations, each user has a right of access, rectification and deletion of their data.

ARTICLE 08 - DISPUTES AND APPLICABLE LAW

These CGV are subject to the applicable law in Spain. In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal action.

In case of persistent disagreement, the courts of Girona will be the only competent ones.

These CGV are in effect from Sep. 1, 2025.
